Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of policystamp.com (the "Service"), operated by Vicolo Studio ("we," "us," "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
policystamp.com is a tool that generates legal-document templates based on inputs you provide. We are not a law firm. The output is not legal advice. See our Disclaimer for the full statement.
2. Your account and inputs
You are responsible for providing accurate inputs (business name, jurisdictions, integrations, etc.). The accuracy and completeness of the output depend on the inputs you provide. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
3. Pricing and payment
The Service is offered at the prices listed on the pricing page. Payments are processed by our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy, which handles global tax compliance. Subscription plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel a subscription at any time from the dashboard or by emailing us; the subscription continues until the end of the current billing period.
4. Refunds
One-time purchases ($2 single document): the free preview is your refund — review the first sections before paying. After purchase, refunds are at our discretion.
Pro subscriptions ($5/month or annual): cancel any time. We will refund the unused portion of the current billing period on request within 30 days of the charge.
5. License to use generated documents
Documents you generate are yours to use. We do not retain a license over the generated content. You may modify them freely. The Service itself, including the prompt engineering, knowledge base, and software, remains our intellectual property.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- scrape or reverse-engineer the Service;
- generate documents containing illegal content;
- impersonate another business or person in your inputs;
- resell or redistribute the Service as your own product;
- use the Service to harass, defraud, or deceive consumers.
7. No legal advice — your responsibility to verify
You acknowledge that:
- policystamp.com is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice;
- output is generated by an AI model and may contain errors;
- you will review the output and, where appropriate (high-risk industries, regulated activities, complex jurisdictions), have it reviewed by a qualified lawyer before relying on it;
- you assume all risk of relying on the output.
8. No warranty
THE SERVICE AND ALL OUTPUT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE OUTPUT COMPLIES WITH ANY SPECIFIC LAW OR REGULATION.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS ($50). WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR REGULATORY FINES OR PENALTIES, EVEN IF WE WERE ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of (a) your inputs, (b) your use or distribution of the generated documents, or (c) any breach of these Terms by you.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a manner that creates risk for us or other users.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction TBD pending entity formation], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer-protection law in your country.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Service and, for Pro subscribers, by email.
